Hello! I'm Monica, a multimedia journalist based in the Pacific Northwest. I hold a passion for the art of visual storytelling. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a minor in business administration. I anchored with the campus news station, Duck TV, for over a year. On the newspaper side, I worked for two years as an opinion writer, podcaster and DEI head at the Daily Emerald. My first internship was at GHOne News in summer 2023, a tv station located in Accra, Ghana. I'm experienced in different areas of journalism: reporting, video, writing and podcasting.
